Afternoon Car ride in St Croix, US Virgin Islands

Between August 30, 2017 - October 2, 2017, two hurricanes devastated the US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and other Islands in the Caribbean; Maria and Irma. It was sad to watch pictures on my Facebook timeline of people loosing their family houses. Others couldn’t eat; the worse part is some also lost people they cared about😢. Yes….! There are things you cannot do, or help😞. You just have to watch and Pray. But also support.

While I was in St Croix in October 2019, you could see how they are still recovering. Some trees were still missing leaves, others were bent. When walking on the boardwalk, you could see that it was redone. Regardless, people had smiles on their faces. They were friendly like nothing ever happened. They were so happy. I really admire them for that.

As humans, we are not weak. We are stronger than what we think we are. We are resilient and we know how to adapt to change.

To everyone that was affected by any disastrous event, I applaud you. You are a living Legend. 💪 ❤💕
