2022 Diversity Lottery (Green Card Lottery)

The USA has been the land of the dreamers, where you have a chance to build a world that you only thought possible of achieving in your dreams. The Diversity Lottery (Green Card Lottery) is right around the corner, and may be your way of seeing a new world of possibilities. Don’t be fooled though, the process will not be easy, life here is not. If you are ready for the journey, the diversity lottery will be open in October 2020 until November 2020.

The diversity lottery is like what it sounds. You submit an application for you and your immediate family, and wait to be selected in a lottery manner. Millions of others will be competing with you and only 50,000 green card visas will be issued. I personally applied 3 years in a row, and haven’t got it. But you may be part of the lucky ones, and it does not cost you to try since it is free.

If picked, the lottery allows you to get granted a Green Card visa for you and your family(if you applied together) to come live in the USA. The green card allows you to work and a chance to become a US Citizen after couple years of living in the USA. Keep in mind, you can only apply once a year, multiple entries in the same year will disqualify you from the lottery.

Again the 2022 Diversity Lottery has not been opened yet for you to apply. While we are getting closer to October, a date will be set in their website. Last year, it was opened on October 1st 2019 until November 3rd 2019.
